The challenge

What Mendix did
Mercury Systems picked Mendix because the platform runs on its own infrastructure: Kubernetes, full governance, no single point of failure. A pilot skillset matrix took one week and was in production after two. Then came the digital thread linking the BOM, CAD models, simulation results and field data, on a DevSecOps pipeline running offline behind two firewalls, with record-level permissions.
